Limestone |
| Sedimentary rock basically formed by calcite carbonate in the form of calcite with minor amounts of other minerals such as dolomite, aragonite and quartz. It is originated by the sedimentation of organic remains, which form large deposits of white, yellow, gray, red and brown, depending on the composition of the impurities present. It is a rock extended in nature and often presents fossil remains in its structure. |
