| Set of elements that do not have the properties of metals. They are located in the upper right part of the periodic table. They can occur in any physical state. Their properties are, in good part, inverse to those of metals, they are bad electrical and thermal conductors, they do not have metallic brightness, they do not emit electrons when being heated, nor when they shine light on them, and they are not ductile or malleable in solid state . |
