| Chemical element of symbol Tm, belonging to the series of the lanthanides, of atomic number 69 and atomic mass 168,93. It appears as a silvery white metal, very soft, ductile and malleable, very scarce in nature. It is used as a radioactive source in portable X-ray apparatus, in alloys and in ceramic materials. |
