Ferromagnetism |
| Property of some substances or materials in which, under the action of a sterno magnetic field, a magnetic dipole moment of the atoms is induced, very large and ordered, which turns the substance into a very powerful magnet, its magnetic moment can be larger than the external field. The magnetic permeability of these bodies is very high. Many of these materials continue magnetized when the external magnetic field stops acting, they have become permanent magnets. |
