Feldspar

Minerals of the silicates group. They are made up of silicon and oxygen plus other components. Aluminum silicate and an alkali (potassium, calcium, sodium or, rarely, barium), whose numerous varieties are the essential constituents of endogenous and metamorphic rocks.
